LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Fort Sill Federal Credit Union held an informative event on April 14 for money skills.
The event focused on tools and tips like budgeting, credit management, and investing all part of their new Free Financial Education Series, “Moolah Matters.”
The credit union’s Community Outreach Specialist, Ainsley McCarty, also shared some of about the positive experiences she had while partaking in the event.
“We get to see a lot of the good, bad, and in-between, and there’s no stupid questions that people ask. There’s a lot that we might think is common sense but that might not be to others.”
People who missed the event, will have more opportunities to attend since they have more planned every other week at the Comanche County Health Department.
The next event will be happening on April 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
